cc//statement regarding CounterStrike 1.6

Today we planned on announcing the former Meet Your Makers CounterStrike 1.6 team as the new cc// CS1.6 team. After a week of negotiations and finalising contracts we were informed late last night that MYM had a change of heart and wouldn’t be joining. They’ve had a “better” offer elsewhere that they couldn’t resist.

We’re obviously bitterly disappointed about this, everything had been agreed and the rebranding of the new look cc// would have happened today had we not received such news. Collectively the management staff here at cc// have been around for long enough to know that this set back isn’t something that needs to be worried about, we still have the support necessary to continue with our expansion.

This currently leaves us without a CS team. We’ll be on the lookout for a new team in the not too distant future but this experience has left us less than impressed. The planned expansion of cc// will go ahead, we will continue to grow at a steady pace and will continue to take the eSports world by storm, one step at a time.

Check back next week for our new look site, we may even have a few player announcements ready and waiting for you.

cc//css adds HenryG

We spoke of a number of upcoming announcements yesterday and today we can release the first. After placing 2nd at the Alienware Area51 Challenge last weekend at The Gadget Show Live in Birmingham, taking away £1750, the team decided that changes were needed. Jim “Mx” Smale will be moving to the role of 6th man whilst Henry “HenryG” Greer will make the move from 4Kings to slot in as our 5th player for the upcoming Lan79 in Breissure, France taking place in under 2 weeks.

cc// release CS1.6 team

It’s with a heavy heart that today we announce the departure of the current cc// CounterStrike 1.6 team. They were taken on under a short term contract which we have decided to terminate early. The reasons are clear to us; we will be expanding as an organisation over the coming weeks which will allow us to be considered among the eSports elite.
It’s always difficult removing a team, but the time is right and after a week of planning we’ve decided that this will be the best way forward for cc//.
We will have several announcements over the coming days and weeks which will mean that we take the eSports world by storm; you can still expect to see cc// well represented at ESWC Korea in less than 2 weeks time.

ETF2L Season 4 Polls are in!

The ETF2L Season 4 Polls have closed, and Crack Clan managed to take three of the “Best of Class” awards! Hymzi, punpu, and kyynel each take the Best of Season 4 for their respective classes. Congratulations to them! All that remains is to choose the best overall player of ETF2L Season 4, and Crack Clan is definitely dominating that ballot.
