Re: Olympics - Opening Ceremony

It doesnt matter how easy it is to commit or how common it is. Hand ball inside the 18 yard box when your hand is not in a natural position, (ie: by your side as it was before she noticed the ball was going to go past her) is an offensive that results in a penalty to the other team. At the top level...

Re: Olympics - Opening Ceremony

Yeah i liked the olympic rings being forged in the industrial part and then coming together and the touch of each team having a funnel thing that i remember wondering what it was for and then they merged them all together to form the torch. Pretty impressive! :)

Re: America Not the Greatest Country in the World!

Why does there have to be a "greatest country in the world"?

Re: Favourite Games of all time?

How could i forget Elite on my BBC Microcomputer!!! One of the greatest games of the 80s by far! Not sure if it became popular in America but it was a rock hard space trading game with "sort of" 3D graphics! It was incredible at the time! U started off with a crappy ship with a cargo hold and a bit ...

Re: Favourite Games of all time?

Good idea for a thread Justice! :) Nice choices too, all great games! Im going to expose my age with a few of my choices so im going to restrict it to games that had a serious WOW! factor at the time or games that shall make my fingers arthritic through excessive hours of playing! My mate down the r...

Re: Brevik Trial - Insane or no?

I take your point Justice but i think its because you are obviously a good natured person that you arent thinking like Brevik was and that is why you think he was insane. He saw a problem in his country namely immigrants. He wanted to do something drastic about it that would leave a lasting impressi...

Re: Brevik Trial - Insane or no?

Suicide bombers, I would argue, are not sane either. Here, strap this to your chest, believe in Allah and you will be saved. Trust me. (see the gap in logic here?). Christian, Muslim or not; I'd still wager he thinks something is true, in his mind, that the majority of others do not share. The simp...

Re: Brevik Trial - Insane or no?

Ur right Justice. Ive had very little contact with guns. Shotguns are the easiest firearm to get here followed by rifles but only criminals would have handguns or anything else outside of a gun club. Im from Northern Ireland and there are very strict gun laws here due to the paramilitaries. People s...

Re: Brevik Trial - Insane or no?

Are u saying that only honest people can get guns legally? If im gonna commit a crime and i think the people im robbing could kill me id kill all of them first and any cops that tried to arrest me cos the prison sentences in America are so draconian that id do anything to make sure i wasnt caught. W...

Re: Brevik Trial - Insane or no?

I dont think Brevik will have any amazing epiphany making his "reality" come down. He spent a very long time planning and preparing for what he did and he has already expressed remorse for what he saw as a "necessary evil" to achieve his goals. He had intended the bomb to take out the entire governm...

Re: Leaving, Will still be around.

See u Minter! No bad taste! :) No reason to be bitter when u were just a sort of test subject for the clan anti-cheat policy! Id say if this happens in the future the process will now be much more streamlined and efficient so thanks for that! :) Of course if ur ban is lifted then we will all owe u a...
