My experience has been that it's really fun. It's like Mirror's Edge meets Enemy Territory.

Re: Steam going Mobile!

Yeah, Valve's values are pretty diametrically opposed to Apple's so I can't imagine Apple getting too much exclusive love.

Smashing Magazine is giving away some hardware

Smashing Magazine is giving away some awesome stuff -- notably a GeForce GTX 480 and some $300 Sennheiser headphones, the HD600. They're also giving away a 3D mouse, which can be handy if you do any sort of 3D modelling / level design / etc. All you have to do is go here and post a comment talking a...

Re: Newell: We've moved beyond the episodic model

..the constant, unannounced updates (which can/do often change game play and game balance significantly) make TF2 only barely competition-worthy. Fresh, yes. (doesn't matter) More support for the titles, new official maps / content / etc, bugfixes, new gameplay modes, keeps t...

Appeal denied for cheerleader who rfused to cheer for rapist

At a party, jocks Rakheem Bolton and Christian Roundtree forced a cheerleader into a room and assaulted her. Others at the party heard her yelling and forced their way into the room and the two jumped out the window without their clothes. The cheerleader says they raped her. Bolton copped a plea to ...

Crystal, what level of evidence would be acceptable to convince you that it wasn't a conspiracy?

Hope these posts aren't unwelcome, bringing some humor to an otherwise pretty serious / morbid thread :)
