I wouldn't trade my G5 for anything other than another (or a G500 :))

I use a Logitech G5 mouse for games like BF:BC2 & RO. I use all available weights in the mouse w/acceleration enabled.

And I use a Razer Deathadder for TF2, w/acceleration disabled.

And of course a Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold Joystick for movement in all games (can't stand keyboards for gaming)! 8)

I personally think there isn't one "best" gaming mouse. It's all about how your hand fits over the mold and on the buttons. I actually used (and very much enjoyed using) a trackball mouse when I played wc3, and eventually switched to razer mice. Currently using the lachesis, because my long, thin hands fit nicely over the small arch without any stress over long term use.

My only recommendation is to test all the mice you can and go with what "feels" best in your hand. The difference in mice other than the feel is miniscule at best. [IMO]

I think Razer has some of the best mice out there. I use a Mamba currently, but used to use a DeathAddler, I loved them both. If you want a gaming mouse think also about getting a good mouse pad made for gaming. It really does improve you're mouse handling.
