I use an iPhone. I think that it's a good all-around phone. The app-store is huge and has loads of good freeware. On the downside, it's bluetooth is not compatible with other phones more than Iphone itself and similar Apple merchandice, the battery time is small (One day if you use it alot) and setting it up with Itunes is hard (Just putting a custom ringtone is a killer.)

I wouldnt recommend it to the advanced users, because this is a type of phone you'll either hate or love.

EDIT: It's a 3GS. :)

I have some POS LG phone. Contract is up soon so it will either be a Blackberry or HTC for me. I need something that will support a Golf GPS.

If are apps are any consideration at all for you I'd go with a HTC Android phone, Blackberry's numbers are dropping ridiculously fast and as a result developers are leaving in droves. That said they're awesome for sending emails, just don't get one of the floozy touchscreens like the Torch or the Storm -- get one with the traditional hard keyboard.

Sorry for reviving an old thread but I renewed my cell contract last week and got the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate 3G for free. I love it and last night in the Hospital I think I played Angry Birds off and on for over 4 hours. I think it is the most addicting phone game out there. I tried searching to see if there is a thread for everyone's favourite phone apps but can seem to find one. Is there such a thread? If not maybe we could create one and sticky it so this old guy can always find it.
