Domestic Terrorism / Civil Disobedience

Post by Hans » Thu Feb 18, 2010 7:37 pm

Take a look, he flew a plane into a building in Austin, Texas because he felt he was being screwed by the system. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35461747/ns/us_news-life/

More than a small percentage of people feel the same way about getting screwed by the double standards of the system. It will be interesting to see the reaction to his argument.

Its a shame he didn't put it down to religion, seems like if you do that you get away with it.

It will be interesting. I feel I am one he would of directed his letter to, as I do hope things aren't as he says they are and am optimistic about the status of our country. However, I could relate to some of the points he made.... large organized religion is a scam, government bailouts of "too large to fail" companies, and taxation without proper representation. But, I can't see his "body count" theory really playing out well.

Read his "suicide note". He mentions religion (mostly focused on Catholics) a couple of times. It seems he had it out for Churchs, Corporations, Politicians, and the Internal Revenue Service, among other things.

basically he got busted three times for various tax evasion schemes and failed as an engineer in the 80's and 90's so he flew a plane into the building, nothing noble or heroic here.

I think the plane part was pretty heroic, right up until he crashed, that is. #-o

Heh - he talks about Harrisburg, PA :) That's only an hour from here! His steel-mill worker friend dude (wasn't paying full attention) likely worked in the city I live in :D

I refuse to discuss the rantings of a gutless turd who did nothing more than murder a respected Vietnam veteran and injure 13 others. I hope he is in hell pumping thunder at 3 cents a clap and getting the daily pineapple shoved up his butt.

That insult is directed at the gutless turd, not the people who choose to respond on this topic.
